"The Mainstream is weak, the underground ain't dope no more!" Hip Hop is a surplus nowadays. So much music coming out... yet more than half of it will not be remembered. This site is dedicated to search through all Hip Hop and bring what we feel is the good stuff today. This isn't a website committed to bring you commercial rap or underground; this is strictly for the Hip Hop Heads. No bias regardless of popularity or abstractness. "Dope beats, Dope Rhymes, what more do ya'll want!"

Must Have Music: Athletic Mic League - The Foundation
Athletic Mic League is a 7-man crew from Detroit that I was crazy about back in my middle school days. AML dropped their debut album, The Thrill Is Gone, back in 2001 and eventually died off later that decade after dropping a total of 4 albums. The only two artist that took off in their solo careers were Buff 1 and 14kt. The song I chose for MHM is actually a track that dropped back before they had dropped any studio albums and off one of their come-up projects titled, Thrill Of Victory, Agony of Defeat. This is a prime example of the days when the underground was dope and when talking shit about the music industry still wasn't cliche. Take a ride down one of my very own memory lanes with this one.
