This track was cut from Fly Union's solid The Greater Than Club album, which dropped this last April. Don't know why it didn't make the album since it's actually better than several of the tracks. Either way, if you haven't become aware of the trio (don't know if the white guy is actually part of the group) just yet, now is a good time to quit sleeping.

I don't know what Trae Tha Truth did to get all these dope/popular emcee's featured on his track. When the hell did he get enough recognition and buzz to where he could get half of Outkast and some of the biggest names in the game right now (Wiz, Lupe, Wale) on a track? To be honest, I don't see what's so special about the guy but fuck it, another dope track at least.

Never heard of Nikki Jean but this track has vintage sound written all over it. And she's pretty damn hot too haha. Couldn't ask for a better set of emcees to make the track complete.

Jay Rock - Hood Gone Love It ft. Kendrick Lamar (Video)

First single/video off Jay Rock's upcoming album Follow Me Home, which drops on the 26th. Even though Kendrick drops a proper verse, Jay Rock is allowed to give his career a boost and enlist Rick Ross and Birdman for the Remix. The new west is here to stay.

Asher Roth - Summertime ft. Quan (Video)

The best part of summer: All the summer jams hip hop has to offer! Asher Roth may get some shit every now and then for that "I Love College" frat tool anthem, but the dude is actually pretty ill. Another new dope video which makes me want to never go back to school and relive summer days/nights for the rest of my life. Don't be surprised if this makes July.

New video for one of the two tracks, from the LA crew, that I chose to be on the February Mix. This track is off their Live for, Die for album. Personally, my favorite project to drop this last February. Dope video with a feel of a Pharcyde "Bizzare Ride" at the end when they're crusin' in the jeep.

June Mix

Sorry for the late post. My boy Sowko made feel bad for not hitting the deadline this month but here it is! So June was actually a pretty good month for hip hop. With a debut from G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean and a compilation album from old school classic artist Pete Rock and Smiff-N-Wessun, this month was proof that hip hop is surviving. Look out for Dom Kennedy... He's bringing that true west coast G-rap summer feeling for damn sure! Download, Burn, and BUMP!!!
